Keeping on Track in Winter

HOORAY – we are finally over the hump!  Yes, that’s right, we are now officially more than halfway through Winter and in less than 6 weeks, Spring will be here.   Is your body ready for the warmer weather or have you found that Winter has really thwarted your weight loss efforts?  Let us help you to getting back on track by giving you some tips & motivation to keep you focussed on your weight loss for the remainder of this chilly weather.

  • Get a picture of a healthy woman in a pair of bikinis / swimmers and put it on your refrigerator door.  Every time you prepare a meal (and those times when you are feeling a little bit peckish between meals), you will look at the fridge and be reminded of how you want to look by the time summer approaches:  it’s amazing how much this visual reminder works to keep you on track.  This strategy works even better if it is a photo of you taken at a time when you were the weight you would like to get back to.
