Skinny Model Sparks Healthy Body Debate

Recently, well known model, Nina Agdal caused a furore when she posted a photo of herself at the gym on Twitter. Her VERY lean physique led to a barrage of criticism from Twitter users, and when the offending photo was published in newspapers around the world it created the international debate ‘How Skinny is Too Skinny?’ Have a look at the photo below and let us know what you think:

Granted, the pose she is in makes her look extremely thin, but it is frightening to think that genetically-gifted women like Nina are modeling clothes and, when flicking through the latest women’s magazines, the average woman is made to feel even worse about their own bodies.

Fashion designers will argue that they need to choose rake thin-like women to model their clothes as they make the perfect ‘coat hangers’ to show off their outfits. However, are these women ‘real’?
